What to Expect in Testing

What to Expect During Your Time With Us

Testing can feel like a big unknown — especially if you or your child have never gone through it before. Here's what the process actually looks like, from your first reach-out to your feedback session.

Getting Started
Reach out through our website or give us a call. We'll talk through what's bringing you in, answer your questions about the process, and get you scheduled.

Before Your Session
You'll complete intake paperwork ahead of time so we can review relevant history before we ever sit down together. This means your session time is spent on you — not on paperwork.

Your Testing Session
This is where our approach looks a little different. We don't hand you a screen and walk away. Testing is done in person, with your clinician present for the full session, because we believe accurate results come from a client who feels seen — not one being rushed through a digital checklist. Expect a 3–4 hour first session, structured around rest breaks and paced to how you or your child are doing that day.

Scoring & Report Writing
Once testing is complete, your clinician takes the time to score every measure and write a report that actually reflects the person behind the numbers — not just a stack of scores, but context, recommendations, and next steps.

Your Feedback Session
About 3–4 weeks after testing, we'll sit down together again — this time to walk through your results. This session is yours: ask questions, push back, get clarity. You'll leave with a full understanding of what the report says and how to use it, whether that's for school accommodations, workplace support, or your own peace of mind.
