Leandro Lozada

Intern

Leandro joins Apricus Counseling as an Intern while he is completing his Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Campbellsville University. His evidence-based approach uniquely skills Leandro for the populations he works with, including couples, men, and clients suffering with anxiety and depression.

Leandro is passionate about seeking clients' growth, in their connections with others, as well as in their own healing journey. He uses his background of training in CBT, EFT and the Gottman Method, to allow him to adapt and skillfully meet clients in their journey.

Prior to his journey to become a therapist, Leandro worked for over five years supporting young adults at a local non-profit. His care for humans in all walks of life, uniquely gifts him to step into the therapeutic space.

Leandro is also fluent in Spanish and able to provide therapy in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility and resources for a diverse range of clients.

Please note- as Leandro is an intern, he is unable to bill insurance for his time, however, his hourly rate is reflective of his intern status at $40/hour. He is supervised by both his Campbellsville Internship supervisor, and on site by Corinne Paul, Marriage and Family Therapy Associate
